First, you want to put the wig on your head with the lace and everything. You want to get gauge how the wig looks, where the front of the wig begins, and where you want to place the wig.

During the first step, you want to figure out where you want to place your wig, which should be near your natural hairline.

Step 2:Cut the lace

When you receive a new lace front wig, you should trim back the excess lace on lace wigs first. You need a steady hand and a good pair of scissors to do it correctly.

Since cutting away too much lace can ruin the wig, it is better to cut it in small portions. Be careful while cutting close to the hairline, and make sure not to cut the actual hair.

Step 3:Part your hair and neaten the divisions

And you lay it just a little bit on your forehead. Just use your figures to press the gel or glue.

Clip your hair on either side of the wig. Create a parting on one side of the hair wig using a fine-tooth comb.

Use a rattail comb to take 1/5 of an inch in the front to cut baby hair. Separate this small part from the rest of your frontal by clipping the hair. Use alligator clips to secure the hair.

Step 5:Dry the hair

If you water the hair to cut baby hairs, you should let them dry before setting them. Hold wet baby hair in one hand and a hairdryer on another hand and start drying. Remember that baby hair is fragile, so you must hold the machine about 2 inches from the hairline.

Step 6:Brush your hair

Use a toothbrush to brush forward a few traces of the wig hair at the hairline. If you want baby hair all across the hairline, start with a small, 1-inch section at the center of the forehead. If you only want baby hair at your temples, start there.

Step 7:Cut the baby hair

Pull the section of hair forward gently and hold the cosmetic razor in the other hand. For starters, trim the hair so that it's long enough to reach the tip of your nose. For longer, wispy tendrils, leave it at this length. For shorter baby hairs, pull the section of hair forward and trim again.

Step 8:Set your baby hair using a hairspray

Spritz a soft-bristled toothbrush with hairspray, and brush the baby hair gently. You can also use edge control gel or a hair styling cream to shape them.
